Excess body weight also known as obesity is not good for the health; this condition is a risk factor for many chronic diseases and even infertility. It even prevents obese people from venturing into certain careers they

Ginseng also prevents rapid aging and boost immune function. It burns fats around the body especially belly fats. Ginseng root powder can be gotten in Nigeria from any natural health store or pharmacy or you can also get the liquid extract depending on your choice. Get the liquid extract. Then add 15 to 25 drops of the extract in your tea or water and this should be done twice daily. If it is the powder you got. Take 5 grams twice a day. After two weeks it should be reduced to 2 grams twice daily. You can also take ginseng tea every morning; this will ensure you lose weight rapidly. To make yours at home:- Boil a cup of dried hibiscus flower (zobo leaves) in a teapot with two cups of water. When it has boiled; bring it down and let it cool. Strain it and your drink is ready. It also suppresses appetite; this will reduce the frequency of eating, take green tea thirty minutes before meals to make sure you don’t overeat. Green tea can be gotten from health stores nationwide; the green leaves are used to prepare tea. You can take 4 cups daily and make sure it is taken 30 minutes before meals. To make green tea:- Add two teaspoons of green tea to a cup of hot water and let it steep for 5 minutes. You can cinnamon too. Strain it and stir it well before drinking.

If you are using the extract; take 2 tablespoons daily. Another way to use Aloe Vera gel by dissolving the 1 teaspoon of the gel in a cup of water by using the back of a spoon. Its active ingredient Curcumin is an efficient fat burner; it melts fats, reduce the levels of sugar, cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. Add it generously to your meals and you can take it as a drink. Crush fresh turmeric root with mortar and pestle. Add it to a cup of warm water. Add lime juice. Use a spoon to stir the mixture very well and your drink is ready. This should be taken daily.

13. Rosemary This wonderful herb contains the enzyme lipase which breaks down fat molecules in the body. It is also rich in fiber which prevents the absorption of fats and keeps one feeling full for a long period of time. You can use either the fresh or dried leaves or you can also use the capsule. Take 400 mg of the capsule three times daily; the leaves either fresh or dried can be used to make tea. Add the leaves to a cup of boiled water and let it steep for some minutes. Strain it and then drink it. Do this daily.

14. Neem Also known as dogon yaro in Hausa; this medicinal plant burns fats, boost metabolism and fight inflammation. Take the tea daily to help you lose weight fast. Crush 4 or 5 leaves using a mortar and pestle; add this to a cup of water and stir well before taking.


15. Fenugreek It helps the body burn fats; it fights obesity, treats inflammation, lowers blood sugar and cholesterol and it even prevents constipation. You can get it from health stores and take two teaspoons of fenugreek seeds a day with a cup of water. To do this, you have to soak the 2 teaspoons of fenugreek seeds in a cup of water overnight; when you wake up in the morning, strain it and drink it on an empty stomach.
