Lagos to hold 12-hour road carnival on dec. 3

the authorities of lagos state has announced on thursday that it would preserve a 12-hour avenue carnival on the popular oba akran road, ikeja, on december three, in advance of the xmas.
speaking at a news convention in alausa, the special adviser to governor akinwunmi ambode on tourism, arts and tradition, mrs adebimpe akinsola, said that the general intention of the carnival became to boost the economic system of the state.
akinsola said that the occasion, formerly known as lagos street birthday party, had metamorphosed into a carnival, which would take location on the complete stretch of oba akran road from midday till midnight.
she confident that arrangements had been in location to ensure most security and traffic control.
akinsola stated that alternative routes would be furnished to motorists so that they do no longer enjoy pains because of the closure, while including that over seven-hundred revellers were predicted to wait the carnival in colorful costumes, layout and animation in a managed procession.
